Health District Services Impacted by COVID-19

Birth and Death Certificates - Until further notice

To request a certificate for births that occurred in Washington State after July 1, 1907, and/or deaths that occurred in Ferry, Pend Oreille and Stevens Counties from February 2014 to present - please mail us the birth certificate application, death certificate application, with a check or money order. Phone orders using a credit or debit card - please call 509-684-2262, option #3. 

Environmental Health Permits and Applications - Until further notice

Permit application submittals, payments, etc., please call and we will work with you over the phone as much as possible. Online and phones services will continue, as well as inspections and permit reviews. Permit applications and other services are available on our webpage. Drop boxes are available at all of our locations to return any documents. Please call our offices for questions about permits, payments, and other environmental health services normally provided in person. 

Immunizations - Until further notice

Only essential immunizations will be administered. Nursing staff will determine if vaccines are essential. Please contact any of our offices if you have questions regarding immunizations. 

Safe Syringe Services Program (Needle Exchange) - Until further notice

No walk-ins at this time. Must call to set up an appointment. 

Women Infant and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) - Until May 30, 2020

Scheduled WIC appointments will be done via phone and benefits will be issued remotely. 

Additional WIC services (breast feeding support, breast pumps, etc.) or applying for WIC, call one of our offices for further instruction.
