Family Planning

The Family Planning and STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) Clinics that have been provided for many years by the Northeast Tri County Health District, will be closing.  Clients will be seen in the Colville Clinic through the end of September 2016, while the clinics in Newport and Republic will be closed at the end of August 2016.

You may already have a provider at one of the clinics in the communities throughout the three counties and you are encouraged to follow up with them for Family Planning or STD services.  If you do not have a current medical provider follow this link for information on area providers.

If you would like to receive a copy of your medical record, you may stop by one of our offices to obtain a copy of your record.  Your current/new provider may have you sign a release of information in order for the records to be sent to them directly.

The Health District has appreciated the opportunity to provide services to you but, due to several reasons the District has had to make this difficult decision to close.

This closing does not affect other services such as WIC, travel immunizations, other maternal child health programs including the Children with Special Health Care Needs program.

If you have questions.

Please contact Judy Hutton, Community Health Director at (509) 684-2262.
