Vaccination Clinics for Children 12-17

Tri County Pfizer Clinics Flyer 5.18.21

Over the last few weeks Northeast Tri County Health District (NETCHD) has been coordinating with our local health care providers and pharmacies to become the primary locations for individuals seeking the COVID-19 vaccine. This shift will allow individuals and parents the opportunity to discuss any medical concerns or hesitancy about the vaccine with their trusted providers. NETCHD will continue to provide smaller first-dose clinics as an alternative option in both Colville and Newport but will focus vaccination efforts for students, underserved populations, and provider vaccine distribution.

With children ages 12-17 now eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine, the summer months could look a bit more normal for children and parents who are eager to get their families vaccinated and enjoy those summer vacations, sporting events, and other fun activities. Getting our children and communities vaccinated now sets us up for a safer summer and a successful start to the upcoming school year. For school age children who need additional routine vaccines, it was recently announced that the COVID vaccine can be given in combination with other routine vaccines, which provides convenience and ease for children to receive multiple vaccines at one time.

As an additional resource for individuals and families with children ages 12-17, NETCHD will be hosting multiple free Pfizer clinics through the month of June.
