Group B Water Systems

As of January 26, 2017 Northeast Tri County Health District will be regulating Group B water systems due to resolution 01-2017 that passed before the Board of Health.  Group B water systems have 3 to 14 service connections and less than 25 people per day or serve 25 people per day during fewer than 60 days per year.  The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and local health jurisdictions share administrative responsibilities for these systems.  All Group B systems in Stevens, Pend Oreille and Ferry Counties are now regulated by Northeast Tri County Health District.
