The program is a community based collaborative effort to introduce people to LIFE SPORTS defined as those sports which may be participated in by individuals or groups regardless of age. The idea is to give community members a supportive introduction to a wide variety of sports and physical activities in such a manner as to reduce the intimidation of trying new activities with the objective of finding activities suited to their interests and ability levels that can be enjoyed throughout their lives.
