School Health and Safety

The aim of the School Health & Safety Program is to protect the students from injury or disease in school facilities. NETCHD works collaboratively with area school districts to achieve this goal. Activities in this program include:

• Conducting periodic health and safety inspections of all area schools
• Conducting plan reviews of new or remodeled school facilities
• Address indoor air quality concerns affecting students
• Conducting playground safety inspections
